Online Golf Handicap Calculator

Posted under Basically Golf

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

For a while now I have been hunting around for a way that I can keep track of my handicap online without the need to keep paying a massive amount for the privilege each year. Well I am happy to say that I have finally discovered MyScorecard.com Online Golf Handicap Calculator and Tracker which will allow you to track every round you play.

Now I am registered in both Spain and the USA for my handicap because of spending time in both countries during the year. The USA one has always been a tough one to track because I don’t have a membership over there I just play where I can. This system allows me to track all of my rounds without any problem.

They boast on their website “If you are willing to play 1000 rounds we are willing to track them!” Having had a dig around they offer a great reporting system as well as the ability to compare against other golfers of your ability and handicap. This means you can tell if you are improving at the rate you should.

Worth a look in my opinion especially if you are looking for a golf handicap calculator that will store everything in one place. MyScorecard.com

Where did you get your Calloway Golf Clubs?

Posted under Clubs Reviewed

Trying to convince someone that it is Callaway Golf Clubs instead of Calloway golf clubs when the man has a very strong Irish accent and knows absolutely no difference in the way they are spelled was a lost cause for me earlier today. However I have to say that the man had some very good tips on getting the right set of “Calloway golf clubs” at the right price.

This is the point where I say “I wish I had known that 10 months ago when I purchased my set!” However you know how it is with information like that you either use it if you have it or kick yourself after for not having it. I have purchased the odd club since from the supplier he mentioned but if I had gone for the whole set I would have probably saved myself around $500 on my set!

So this is where Callaway Preowend clubs (or Calloway preowned clubs if you have a very strong Irish accent) get another little plug from me. I have just seen that you can get a set of the new X-20 Irons for under $480 and with free shipping. The details for the X-20 are:

X-20 Irons
The ultimate blend of performance and forgiveness. The X Series is about giving serious golfers total performance with enhanced forgiveness for the ultimate in confidence. The new X-20 Irons deliver in every way by offering technology, innovation and playability that will take your game to a new level. Using the Progressive Wall Reduction System, Callaway Golf engineers lowered the center of gravity (CG) 6 percent more than in the X-18 Irons. Progressive Wall Reduction means the CG gets progressively lower throughout the set. The CG is lowest in the long irons, helping you get the ball airborne more easily. With its traditional styling and Callaway Golf core technologies, the X-20 Irons provide the performance and forgiveness to play the game with enhanced confidence.

Personally I think anything below $950 for these clubs is a great deal and even though they are preowned they go through a massive 10 point check by Callaway themselves who say if the club is worthy of being sold on or not. My advice is if you are looking for a new set of, as my friend would put it “Calloway golf clubs” then have a look it really is worth while. Also over the next 14 days they have an extra 10-35% off certain clubs!
